About me
I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist specialising in individual therapy for adults. I help my clients explore past and present experiences and relationships, as well as the conscious and unconscious thoughts and feelings that can influence how they experience themselves, others and the world around. I work psychodynamically, which means that I give particular attention to the unconscious processes that may be going on. This means that I hold no agenda to the sessions. Instead, I encourage my clients to bring whatever comes to mind, including spontaneous thoughts and feelings, as well as memories and dreams. Attention is also given to thinking about childhood relationships and experiences that may have powerfully influenced the way clients presently understand and interact with their internal and external world.

I can help with a wide range of issues including:
• Relationship issues • Trauma • Anxiety/stress/fear • Depression/grief • Abuse • Bullying/harassment • Loss/bereavement • Abandonment • Addictions/compulsions • Attachment • Adoption/fostering • Identity/self-discovery • Health

Qualifications
I hold a First Class BSc in Psychology and an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
